Employee Spotlight:
Joe Kowalczyk

Meet Joe Kowalczyk, our Client Services Senior Account Manager and the office’s designated music festie. When Joe isn’t working directly with a client, he’s stopping by at a trade show or brainstorming with Celts to get stuff done. Read on to learn more about Joe and see his answer to the controversial question— tacos or pizza?

Fave part of the workday?

I love developing strong relationships with our clients. Working with them and the Celtic team to turn their ideas into reality is always such a satisfying and rewarding process.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I actually wanted to be a copywriter but the first job I landed was as an account manager and I loved it. (That’s what we call “meant to be”)

Any weird summer jobs?

One summer I worked at a pool manning the waterslides. All I had to do was tell people when they could go down. (It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it)

What’s one of your favorite campaigns you’ve worked on?

I’ve loved working on the new Omni-Rinse campaign. It’s such a cool and unique product in the restaurant/bar space that’s a real game changer. It’s gratifying to be working on such a new product and seeing it thrive.

You’re one of many Chicagoans in the office, where could we find you on a summer weekend?

Patio season! My friends and I love grabbing drinks outside and enjoying the warm weather while it lasts.

What’s the first thing you would do if you won the lottery? (Other than take all Celts on a cruise)

I would work toward getting my PGA tour card and follow an entire Dead & Co. tour around the country. (And then our cruise?)

Most used app on your phone?

Relisten, it’s an app that allows you to listen to recordings of old concerts. Oh, also the weather.
