Brand Overhaul

In the beef cattle industry, the biggest challenge for insect control companies is explaining to ranchers the scope of the problems horn flies cause. Altosid IGR engaged Celtic to take on the brand’s biggest competition – ranchers who choose to do nothing about horn flies. Celtic dug in deep with consumer research to truly understand the target’s personality. After learning the audience was comprised of tough, rugged, old school cowboys, Celtic identified an idea that resonated: “Doing Nothing is Not How You Got Here.”

Extending the Story

A trade show experience was created for the National Cattleman’s Beef Association tradeshow centering on our theme of “Insect Control Starts Here” encircled by individual areas that highlighted product solutions. This strategy created personal conversations based on market pain points. To help drive attendee engagement, Celtic created booth drivers including a 60-second commercial, e-mail campaign and social media program to educate cattle producers on horn fly issues and related solutions.
