In an increasingly crowded category, Starbar’s position as a trusted leader in agricultural insect management is continually challenged. To separate from the competitive clutter, our strategy for this multichannel campaign centered on demonstrating appropriate application techniques to achieve better results and improve customer satisfaction – the two factors most likely to prompt repurchase according to a 2017 study. Focusing on each customer segment, Starbar Products was able to have targeted conversations around product education, application, and efficacy as well as product benefits and value.

A Higher Level of Connectivity

As the growth potential for Starbar Products continued to rise, a stronger presence was established in the retail segment, with significant focus on POP, “how-to” videos, and leveraging strategic merchandising programs. On social media, the Starbar accounts serve as a public customer service forum for answering customer questions and sharing their success stories. Aligning messaging and tactics within each customer segment allowed for stronger personal connections and experiences, based on meaningful messaging and precise product solutions.
